Welcome to the music studio of Stephanie Koogler, providing quality music instruction to the East Valley. My studio is located in Chandler, Arizona, convenient for students in Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa and Tempe. Major Crossroads are McQueen and Chandler Blvd.

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University and over five years of teaching experience. While at BYU I performed with the Cougar Marching Band, playing flute and piccolo. My experience also includes over 10 years of professional accompanying including vocalists, instrumentalists and ensembles, as well as significant church music experience.

After graduating from college, I spent four years in a corporate environment before finally deciding to do what I love. My teaching philosophy is simply that every student--child or adult--should learn to play to whatever capacity her or she is able, and should have fun doing it!

I teach primarily from Alfred's Basic, but utilize other methods periodically, depending on the needs of the student. I utilize theory and history to help the student gain a deeper understanding of the music. Flexible curriculum and a positive learning environment are stressed. I have taught children as young as four and people well into their adult years. Every student is welcome in my studio regardless of skill level. I am a member of several professional teaching organizations including the following: East Valley Music Teachers' Association, Arizona Music Teacher's Association & Music Teacher's National Association.
